Bomb-maze games
A game like Bomberman you can play offline on iPhone
Boome Slime is a Bomberman-style bomb maze game for iPhone and iPad that plays fully offline. You walk a grid maze, drop water bubbles, step out of their blast lines and use the bursts to break crates, chain bubbles together and catch opponents. It is an original game with its own slime characters, stages and modes, not a version of any other series.
What feels familiar
- A grid maze of solid pillars and breakable crates.
- Bubbles instead of bombs: each one bursts after about 3 seconds in four straight lines.
- Chain reactions: a bubble caught in another blast goes off at the same moment.
- Power-ups from crates: longer range, one more bubble at a time, faster shoes.
- Getting caught in your own blast is still the most common way to lose.
What is different in Boome Slime
- A cast of jelly slime friends, each with their own starting stats and limits.
- A story campaign: 15 stages in three chapters, each with three star tasks.
- Expeditions: hundreds of handcrafted stages, with boss fights like the Coral Warden.
- Arena modes against bots: 1v1, 2v2 and 4v4 team battles, plus Candy collection and Crystal transport. See all game modes.
- Play with friends on the same Wi‑Fi: one phone opens a room, others join, bots fill the empty seats. No internet needed. How local play works.
- No internet matchmaking or chat. On your own, every opponent is a computer-controlled slime.
Who it suits
It suits players who like the classic bomb-maze rhythm but want something to play on a plane, on a train or anywhere the signal drops. Stages are short, progress saves on the device, and the slime cast keeps it light for younger players and families. If you want online matches against strangers, this is not that game. The offline guide lists exactly what works without a connection.
Where you can get it
The full iOS edition is in Apple's review and is not on the App Store yet. On Android, a separate 50-stage trial is open only to invited testers; it is not the full game.
Quick answers
Is Boome Slime the same as Bomberman?
No. It is an original game in the same bomb-maze genre, with its own characters, stages and modes.
Can I play it offline?
Yes. Story stages, expeditions, matches against bots and practice all work with no internet or Wi‑Fi, and progress saves on the device.
Can I play with friends?
Yes, on the same Wi‑Fi network. Up to four people can join a room on their own phones, and bots fill the other seats. No internet is needed.
Is there online multiplayer?
No. There is no internet matchmaking or chat. Playing together only works with friends nearby on the same Wi‑Fi.
