Play with friends on the same Wi‑Fi, no internet needed

Boome Slime lets friends in the same room play together on their own phones over the same Wi‑Fi network. One phone opens a room, the others join, everyone picks Blue or Red, and bots fill any empty seats. No internet connection and no online account are needed.

How to start a game with friends

  1. Everyone opens Boome Slime on their own iPhone or iPad, connected to the same Wi‑Fi.
  2. One player taps Play together and opens a room.
  3. The others tap Play together and join that room from their phones.
  4. Pick a side, Blue or Red, and a format: 1vs1, 2vs2 or 4vs4.
  5. Start. Seats nobody has taken are played by bots.

No internet needed

Local play only uses the Wi‑Fi network between the phones, not the internet. A home router with the internet down, a café network, or a trip where nobody has mobile data all work the same way. On a plane, switch Wi‑Fi back on after turning on airplane mode. The offline guide lists what else works without a connection.

How many people can play

Up to four people can join a room. In 4vs4 there are eight slimes on the board, so with four friends the other four seats are bots. That also means two people are enough for a full 2vs2: one friend on each side, each with a bot teammate, or both friends on the same team against two bots.
