Outfits in Boome Slime: how to unlock each one
Outfits change looks only, not stats. You pick them in the Wardrobe, and each one is earned in one of four ways: with coins, by reaching a player level, as a gift with your first coin purchase, or during a seasonal event. Wearing a new outfit never makes a slime faster, stronger or harder to trap.
The outfits available now
- Royal Jelly: about 650 coins.
- Star Mage: about 650 coins.
- Trail Explorer: unlocks at no cost when you reach level 12.
- Comet Hero: a bonus gift that comes with your first coin purchase. Buying coins is optional, and nothing in the game requires it.
Seasonal outfits coming this winter and for Tết
Two seasonal events are planned. Each one adds one outfit you earn by playing and one you can buy with coins while the event is on.
- Winter (early December to early January): Snow Buddy for winning 12 matches, and Holiday Star for about 800 coins.
- Tết (late January to mid-February 2027): Spring Blossom for winning 12 matches, and Lion Dance for about 800 coins.
These are not in the game yet, and dates may shift. Once you own a seasonal outfit, you keep it after the season ends.
Which outfit should you get first?
Since outfits do not change how a slime plays, pick the one you like looking at. If you want to save coins, play toward level 12 for Trail Explorer, and wait for the seasonal events, where one outfit each is earned by winning matches rather than spending coins.
Coins are also used for other things, such as entry fees for Candy collection and Crystal transport. See Guide 10 for how those modes work.

No. Outfits change looks only. Range, bubble count and speed come from the slime you play and the power-ups you pick up.
How do you unlock Trail Explorer?
Reach level 12. It unlocks at no cost.
Do you lose a seasonal outfit when the event ends?
No. An outfit you own stays in your Wardrobe after the season ends.
Can you get outfits without spending money?
Yes. Royal Jelly and Star Mage cost coins, which you earn by playing, Trail Explorer comes with level 12, and the seasonal events each include an outfit earned by winning matches. Only Comet Hero is tied to a coin purchase.
